$2500 for the 6 month semester.
First Payment of $1250 due by 04/01/2010; Final Payment of $1250 due by 06/01/2010.
If payment in full is made by 04/01/2010, then the price will be reduced to $2000.
Students will also be responsible for the purchase of books.

Medical Billing Solutions, Inc. offers comprehensive medical coding training with an emphasis on the proficiencies required to achieve certification with the American Academy of Professional Coders. Although the focus of the class is those already in the healthcare or medical billing professions, even a dedicated novice can learn the skills and knowledge required to achieve not only certification as a coder, but also the skills and knowledge sought by medical coding and billing employers.
We offer instruction in three fields: medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and CPT coding- all in one class! Our class is interactive, dynamic traditional classroom instruction with challenging assignments, vibrant teaching, and a fast-paced learning environment designed for the committed student.
Medical terminology is approached with chart review in mind. We teach signs and symptoms of diseases, word parts, abbreviations, as well as the basics of body systems so that the accomplished student can understand and discuss medical charts.
Diagnosis coding is taught with an emphasis on correct and accurate ICD-9 coding according to ICD-9 guidelines. Students will be taught to ascertain the correct diagnoses to assign from coding scenarios, confirm the coding assignments of documented diagnoses, and review medical charts for compliance with diagnosis coding according to coding guidelines.
Procedure coding from the physician standpoint is taught with an emphasis on completeness and accuracy. Students will be taught the guidelines necessary to correctly code procedures from the CPT codebook. Supply codes from HCPCS will also be taught briefly.
Medical Billing Solutions, Inc. offers this instruction in a six month time frame with a one night a week classroom commitment. If you can spend the time studying, we can give you the tools to go from the fundamentals to a proficient coder. It’s up to you!
