We provide full medical billing services to all of our clients with no hidden costs. We base our prices on a
percentage of your monthly collections that is charged at the end of each month's billing cycle. The following
specialties are priced at 8% of collections: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Practice, General
Surgery, OB-GYN, Mental Health, Podiatry, Anesthesiology and Pain Management. If you have a specialty
other than what is listed above, this means that your specialty has different pricing variables. In order for us to give you an adequate price quote, please complete the questionnaire below and we will respond to you within 24 business hours.
We do encourage all of our prospective clients to utilize this service. Since we do have five CPC (Certified Professional Coders) on staff, by periodically reviewing your medical records and giving you feedback on coding principals, you can greatly increase your chances of either not getting audited or being able to pass audits if and when this does happen to your practice in the future. We highly recommend that all prospective clients take advantage of this service to start protecting themselves from future liabilities. If you were to hire a company with CPC certified coders to come in and do an internal audit review of your charts, this would usually cost anywhere from $3,000 to $6,000, but we will offer medical record review to our prospective clients at a much reduced rate, because we value the importance of helping physicians and keeping them out of the government's scrutiny.

Each year, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), diagnosis, and Healthcare Common Procedural Coding System (HCPCS) codes undergo numerous changes. If you have not reviewed and evaluated your practice fee schedule within the past year, today is an ideal time to do so. Many practices make the mistake of assuming they do not need to review their fee schedule because health care plan payment is based on a contracted payment schedule. If you are charging less than your health care plan contracted “allowable fee”, your practice could end up short-changing itself on revenue.

Not all offices are interested in using a medical billing service, but may need to re-adjust their procedures, work out kinks in their software, and/or update their coding to maximize reimbursements. For these instances, MBS, Inc. can offer a medical billing consultation by phone or office for a flat rate of $100/hour. If at any time within 30 days of our consultation you would decide to become a full service MBS, Inc. client, we will waive any prior consultation fees or if previously paid, we will credit your future invoices as an MBS client.
MBS, Inc. offers full and complete medical billing services including but not limited to charge entry, payment entry, insurance billing, patient billing, patient phone calls, and outstanding insurance and patient balance follow-up. We also provide complimentary practice management software with full connectivity to our billing system and financial reporting.
